We strongly recommend that you upgrade to a more current browser.When I'm using the Roamio remote in RF mode the LED will blink AMBER when sending commands to its paired Roamio; however, occasionally, the remote will temporarily lose its RF connection with its Roamio and will fallback to IR communication and the LED will then blink RED for a command or two. If you're not seeing ANY LED blinks when in RF mode ...If the LED on the remote does not come on, and you have good batteries, then call TiVo for a new remote. Pairing has nothing to do with volume, TV power and Input. Those are all IR functions controlled by the codes you enter for a specific TV. But the LED should work even if the wrong codes were entered..
