How does purewick at home work - It is electric and does make a lot of noise. Mom leaves the tv on to drown out the noise. The only problem is that the tubing gets stopped up I guess since urine is acidic. I have ordered replacement tubing but in the meanwhile I flush it out with cola each night to keep it clear.
