It has the old style pre crimp station with brass inserts and is very hard to adjust. Can I order the Spindex Kit for a new 600 Jr Mark 5 # 8439? They fit and work perfectly. There's no need to retrofit your reloader until/unless these become unavailable. Replacing with the Hornady fingers is a lot less work.$199.93. It had been stored at less than adequate conditions for 15 plus years ( in an old covered garage but no door). The loader had quit a bit of light to medium surface rust. I have redone some MEC's by just cleaning them in a flat oil drain pan and a small paint brush and some paint thinner to degrease. Then I steel wool or sand off any light rust and re-blue those parts. I have repainted the bases with spray paint and they look new.Make sure you get the old style (pre-Mark 5) conversion kit (part #MEC8335410). question on adjusting crimp depth on MEC 600 jr. I'm having trouble with the crimp depth on my reloader. The shells were coming out looking domed on top.
