Apr 30, 2015 · The Ford 3000 that I have on the farm had a problem with the power steering. There is one small leak but it is very minimal, but I seem to keep losing the oil. I took the pump off and disassembled it. There seems to be quite a bit of play in the shaft (22) and the front of the pump (29) where the large gear is that runs on the front of the engine. . Those rubber type hydraulic fittings weren't the best idea.
