Next you want a maxed out pyromancer glove. Next, a caster has to be fast and nimble. You need to be lightweight (to roll farther) and have high agility (for max iFrames). Go for 99 or 105 agility. It’ll help out a lot. After that, the world is your oyster, in a manner of speaking. You can really do what you want with your build, especially as Pyromancy has no Stamina cost to use. Frankly, add to your Attunement and Stamina and you should be golden. Remember, try to not go heavy and at most, be medium armored. Pyro: int/faith 40/40, chaos bed vestiges, black flame (great combustion untill you get it), witch ring, great swamp ring, sage ring, fourth slot for swaps (fire clutch, silvercat, whatever you need), weapons dark/chaos infusion. Late game switch to demons scar, use saint tree bellvine offhand, switch sage ring to something else you want. The starting basic pyromancy flame is generally the most powerful. Dark Souls I is far more about looking cool than actual functionality. Defense plays a much smaller role than in Dark Souls II and the only real defensive stat that is worth a damn is poise, and even that can be worked around. Dexterity: between the scores of 35 and 45, the spells begin to cast faster, and pyromancy actually gets the best benefit out of this increased casting speed.Dark builds however you might have to farm for dark gems, or have someone drop you the dark weapons you want (or if you're on PC, spawn them in using CE). Pyromancy takes most of the scaling from the flame, making pyromancy the best magic choice for melee builds. You will do bit less damage, but the difference is not that huge. I'd rather take the melee stats and attunement slots than the 100-200 damage more on my forbidden sun. You only need attunement for the attunement slots and +10 pyro flame. After that, the world is your oyster, in a manner of speaking. I don't think quality is advisable, just too thin ...The main stat any character should consider when starting is Endurance. Str and Dex currently are mostly useful for weapon requirements in NG, which means you probably don't need to raise either above 24 before you've got End to 40.For Dex/Pyro, you obviously need high dex to utilize the casting speed increase, and the high dex will go to waste if you don't do +15 with enchant, in my opinion. I would heavily advise doing some more research on how infusions and scaling in general works when making a build.honestly, if you are going to do a dark spell or dark pyro build, for PvE it's totally viable. great soul dregs when your wearing spell buff stuff and the dark mask can hit for 1000+ easily. and if you combine black flame with the parting frame from the ashes of ariendel DLC, you can cast that in quick succession for 6-800 dmg. for PvP, dark spells are damn near useless, but you can do a dark ...Then get the Dusk crown and the dragon crest ring to boost your spells and pyro damage and gg. Ofc don't forget to upgrade your pyro flame, the pyromancies damage doesn't scale with anything, so no int investment, you can only get more damage by upgrading the pyro flame. one word: quince. Get it you wont regret it.Vigor is to increase your health pool, which you definitely want to get to at least around 24 first thing, it soft caps around 28 or 30 cant remember, but dont ever understimate the benefit of a larger health pool, its better than being able to wield some weapon or access to a better pyromancy early game. #10..
