SE cam would be the 204 for solid performance, sounds easy to tune even still be under warranty. Power wise they are very good. Andrews 48,54,57 all bolt in for you engine. Most cams will put you into the 90-100 hp range call it 95 and tq 105-112 ...In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. The pushrods are from horse performance inc. 7/16 taper. It doesn't sound like rubbing, It sounds like lifter rattle. 20/50 non syn for oil. Was running Harley syn before cam change, switched to non just for cam change, was going to go amsoil but after reading about oil on this forum, I'm not sure. Some say to go with straight 50 wt. Very good bolt in for a 96", little undercammed for the 103" but produces great torque in every range and a wonderful cam for touring (with a little racing fun too). Very quiet and well mannered. Anyone out there done a SE 103" Stage 3 Kit with the new 259E cams.Would like to know what HP/TQ to expect if i decide to go with this kit.Will only be using stock heads with a .030 Cometic HG and upgraded SE spring kit at this stage.Thanks Gents. Like.Re: Cams for TriGlide. consider the S&S 510 gear cam. it eliminates the cam shoes, and really made my '09 t/g. a better bike to ride. s&s said that was the biggest gear cam before haveing head work. at 14k my cam shoes showed more wear that i or the shop guy thought would be normal. 01-12-2012, 04:59 AM #5. jcolson..
